New highly sensitive gas leak detector
ION Science has announced the launch of the new Panther gas leak detector, with a host of new features and twice the sensitivity of its predecessor, the GasCheck G.
First GasCheck ever
The first ever "GasCheck" was launched in 1990, offering industrial users the ability to detect leaks of gases such as hydrogen and helium. Later, more advanced versions were developed with new features such as over-range protection and audible alarms. Today, the new Panther PRO represents a quantum leap in technology, with a highly sensitive sensor that can quickly detect a variety of gases – the most popular applications being helium, hydrogen, ammonia and refrigerants.
Panther PRO
Panther PRO provides clear alarms for gas leaks with visual, audible and vibration indicators. LCD screen and built-in gas table enable measurement of concentration and leakage rate in different units. All measurements can be logged and transferred via Bluetooth or USB. For a more budget-friendly option, there's a basic Panther model without data logging and Bluetooth. Both models have an integrated flashlight and flexible probe for low light and tight spaces, as well as a long-lasting rechargeable battery that lasts up to 19 hours.
Product manager's words
Summarizing the benefits, Peter Barratt, Product Manager for ION Science, says: “We have over thirty years of experience, supplying thousands of customers in applications such as quality control, laboratory, cleanroom, medical, manufacturing and research, so we have a very clear understanding of the features required for a professional gas leak detection instrument, so we know customers will be satisfied with the Panther's modern design, specifications and performance.”
